Abt Global
Since 1965, founder Clark Abt pioneered what it means to be a social impact organization, inside and out. Sixty years later, Abt Global continues to improve the quality of life and economic well-being of people worldwide. Headquartered in the U.S. and operating in over 50 countries, Abt partners with governments and communities to drive lasting, evidence-based change in areas such as health, education, governance, and economic development.
In the Skills Alliance for Ukraine, Abt Global is represented with one project:
• The “Inclusive Economy” project supports the organisation of working meetings of the Steering Group for the Support and Development of Women’s Entrepreneurship, with a focus on enhancing digital services at the Entrepreneurship and Export Promotion Office (State Institution). It also provides expert and communication support to the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine in implementing the National Strategy for Closing the Gender Pay Gap by 2030.
• In addition, the project involves the second round of the “Grow” educational programme, which aims to empower Ukrainian female entrepreneurs—particularly women in rural areas and those returning to the workforce during or after parental leave. Finally, it contributes to developing recommendations for creating an inclusive work environment that enables veterans and people with disabilities, regardless of gender, to realise their professional potential.
As of May 2025, 228 beneficiaries have been trained, all of which are women.
