German-Ukrainian Chamber of Industry and Commerce

The German-Ukrainian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK Ukraine) is part of the global network of German Chambers of Commerce Abroad (AHKs), comprising over 150 offices in 93 countries. Established in Kyiv in 2016, AHK Ukraine serves as a key platform for bilateral economic exchange and has since supported member companies in developing and expanding their international business activities. AHKs are closely linked to the network of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce (IHKs) within Germany. Together, IHKs and AHKs assist German companies in establishing and strengthening economic ties with international markets. The umbrella organisation of the IHKs, the Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce (DIHK), coordinates and oversees the global AHK network. Through close cooperation with German business associations, the AHKs are well connected with industries, companies, and market stakeholders worldwide. The AHK network is supported in part by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK), based on a mandate from the German Bundestag.

In the Skills Alliance for Ukraine, AHK is represented with one commitment:

• The AHK Ukraine currently has more than 200 member companies. In coordination with the company, the chamber will be able to disclose information on vocational education and training projects, retraining and business opportunities for members of the association.

• Through the chamber’s information products, such as information appeals, it informs members about project initiatives and attract new members to the Skills Alliance. It plans to disseminate information about dual education opportunities and exchange of experience, training courses, and other initiatives.
