The German Trade Union Confederation (DGB) represents 5.6 million members from 8 trade unions. DGB are the experts for the topic of work and support the employees in all professional groups.
DGB are the voice of trade unions in politics, business and society in the interest of employees towards politics, companies and the public. The goal is that there is good work for everyone, that income is distributed fairly and that everyone gets the same opportunities.
The DGB is democratically built and advocates for the further democratization of the economy, the state and society. DGB actively opposes any form of discrimination and is committed to a united, democratic Europe and committed to peace and disarmament worldwide. The DGB is internationally committed to the right to good work and cooperates with trade unions around the world.
