In the Skills Alliance for Ukraine, FHI360 is represented with two projects:
• Ukraine Economic Resilience Activity (UERA): the FHI 360-led workforce team has been focusing on goals of attracting and retaining Ukrainians back to the country and their communities of origin for work or continued education, and on upskilling and aligning workers to employment opportunities in growing sectors. The team reached more than 1,800 universities, TVETs, private sector employers, and community organizations with partnerships and skill building support. The skill building delivery has allowed women to enter into new industries historically dominated by men. These include areas of agrarian logistics, construction and infrastructure recovery, engineering and automation, amongst other sectors, with over 1,300 female participants; and
• Ukraine Humanitarian Assistance Response Program (UHARP II): this project envisions improving access to quality health and mental health psychosocial support services including gender-based violence in conflict-affected and displaced communities and individuals in Ukraine.
