Promprylad Foundation

Promprylad Foundation is a part of Promprylad.Renovation. A mission-driven community platform which develops sustainable solutions for Ukrainians who decided to stay in Ukraine despite the war and those who plan to return as soon as it will be possible. Being a home front for the whole country Promprylad Foundation sees its role in creating the circumstances which will allow people, organizations and businesses to go on. Promprylad Foundation has started to build Ukraine of which we dreamed of before the full-scale invasion in 2017, and because of the invasion our mission and role became even more crucial. Promprylad Foundation’s main focus are projects which support community development in four main areas: new economy and entrepreneurship development, informal education, modern arts, and urban planning.

In the Skills Alliance for Ukraine, Promprylad Foundation is represented with one project:

• The “Economic Empowerment of Vulnerable Groups” project addresses the special needs of women, youth, people with disabilities, elderly, veterans and vulnerable groups to facilitate their economic empowerment through skills and training that allow the (re-)integration into the labour market, paying special attention to fair work and ethical employment and training programmes. The Foundation started the creation of this quite unique impact investment project back in 2018 and the invasion just convinced that it may become a life-changing driver for multiple communities in Ukraine. Combining business (which has a community of over 1600 impact investors) and NGO (which is dedicated to create social innovations in new economy, informal education, urban development and contemporary art) we managed to foster an ecosystem of co-creation which already has a national impact. Promprylad Foundation’s approach is based on absolute inclusion, ethical leadership and living values. Today, Promprylad Foundation is reaching out to partnerships to significantly scale up the project’s impact so that it can support more people and organisations and influence the future of Ukraine. The ecosystem created under the leadership of Promprylad is already transforming the city of Ivano-Frankivsk. The goal is to spread this experience to other regions of Ukraine, especially those that have suffered the most from the full-scale invasion.
