URC 2025 Kicks Off in Rome: Skills Alliance Takes the Stage

Today, the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC2025) officially opened in Rome, bringing together international partners committed to supporting Ukraine’s long-term recovery and development. The event is being livestreamed and can be accessed via the official website Programme | URC 2025.
As part of the conference, Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Ukraine, met with Reem Alabali Radovan, Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany. During their meeting, the ministers reaffirmed their commitment to close cooperation and underscored the significant role of the Skills Alliance for Ukraine in developing a skilled workforce in Ukraine and contributing to country’s economic rebuilding.
A highlight of URC2025 is the Skills Alliance Lab, which will showcase achievements and contributions of the Alliance’s members during its first year of work. The Lab will also present shared priorities for the coming years and spotlight inspiring examples of best practices, new funding commitments of the members, and effective training initiatives.
In addition, the official Skills Alliance website will be launched during the conference. The platform aims to foster greater collaboration among Alliance members and provide a comprehensive overview of the training programmes and initiatives being implemented to support Ukraine’s resilient and inclusive economic recovery.
